In 2010, this orphanage was established by Elijah Naik in response to the heart-wrenching conditions endured by many vulnerable children. These young souls were not only struggling to survive but also faced the harrowing challenges of fending for themselves on the unforgiving streets. They were at risk of becoming victims of sex trafficking, forced into child labor, and subjected to abuse. In this dire situation, the founder felt a profound calling from the Lord to step in and provide these children with a safe haven, a shelter where they could find refuge, pursue academic education, and, most importantly, discover their identity as cherished sons and daughters of God.
This mission was not merely about sheltering them; it was about nurturing and empowering them to make a transformative impact on the world, driven by compassion and empathy. Although their journey began with just five children, today they have lovingly embraced and cared for a hundred young hearts, instilling hope and a brighter future for each one
Pastor Elijah, his wife Sunitha, and their children Hannah and Hope.
Pastor Elijah started the orphanage because he had a desire to help children in need. The heart behind what he does is to provide a nurturing home, educate the children and raise them to be self sufficient confident citizens of India.
