We are a Christian non-profit designed to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city and beyond. Our goal is to #PamperAndEmpower those in unfortunate circumstances of life, by providing haircuts and teaching the trade of cutting hair, so that people can earn a living for their family.

We have bi-monthly events in Charlotte at Planet 21 Salon – Arlington location. We serve different ministries in our area by providing haircuts to those who cannot afford them. When you look good, you feel good. These people walk in our doors feeling down about life and we hope to not only provide a haircut but encouragement to their souls.

GUATEMALA
TAKING THE MISSION GLOBALLY
Kat Crawford, the founder of SOUL 139, moved to Guatemala in Sept 2016 to start teaching people in local villages how to cut hair. In hopes to help break the cycle of poverty.
Parents in Guatemala are sometimes uneducated due to being sent out to work rather than attending school as a young child. This is because their family did not make enough money to survive. They then send their kids out to do the same because there has been no change.
Kat hopes to be able to teach a skill & provide a starter kit for them to use from their homes, so that their children can attend school and grow up with an education and start to break that cycle.
